Hotel Accommodations
Hotel accommodations have been booked for you at The Charleston Place based on the travel dates provided during your event registration.

When You Arrive
Ground transportation has been arranged for all travelers based on the flights you entered during registration. If you have a change in your flights, please email Lisa Dingman.
If you do not update your flights with Lisa, ground transportation will not be arranged for your new flights and you will be responsible for your own ground transportation at your own expense. Note: if you are arriving prior to Monday, January 16th, ground transportation will not be provided.
Upon arrival at Charleston International Airport, proceed to baggage claim for your flight. Even if you did not check any luggage, you will still need to head to baggage claim to meet the transportation staff/driver. Once you arrive at the baggage claim area, look for staff/drivers holding a Flexential logo sign.
Identify yourself to the staff/driver before you claim your luggage. You will be directed to the designated baggage carousel and then directed to the transportation area.
If you cannot locate your driver or if your flight has been cancelled, please email Lisa Dingman or call at 484-326-1571.
Schedule Details
OnSite Registration
Onsite registration will take place Monday, January 16th at the 2nd Floor Foyer from 5:00-7:00 PM. You must wear your name badge to access all sessions and meals.
Monday Evening Welcome Reception & Dinner
Our Welcome Reception will begin at 7:00 PM at Market Street Circle. All employees are expected to attend. We have special entertainment, announcements, and even competitions happening as early as 7:15 PM. Arrive early!
Meeting Start Time
On Tuesday, January 17th, the General Session will begin PROMPTLY at 8:00 AM. Doors open at 7:45 AM. Breakfast will be provided in Live Oak, beginning at 6:45 AM.
Networking & Break Times
Our intention is for you to be fully engaged in the agenda during Flexential SKO; however, we know that other business must go on. We have included networking breaks and a 1-hour lunch to provide adequate time to provide you time to refresh or catch up.
Tuesday: 9:45 AM - 10:15 AM, 11:15 AM - 11:30 AM, 12:15 PM - 1:30 PM, 3:00 PM - 3:15 PM, 3:45 PM - 4:00 PM. Sessions end – 5:00 PM
Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 9:10 AM, 10:10 AM - 10:30 AM, 11:45 AM - 12:45 PM. Sessions end – 1:45 PM

Weather
The average daily temperature in Charleston fluctuates between 43°F and 57°F in January. Please pack accordingly.
What to Wear
The dress code is Workday Casual. Our agenda is jam packed and we want you to feel comfortable. Wear what you wear to work every day! Jeans and sneakers are acceptable.
Note: Be sure bring appropriate clothing (layers) as the conference area may be cold.
Awards Dinner Attire:
We have a shorter break between our afternoon sessions and the start of our Awards Dinner this year, therefore we are not requiring evening attire. Please feel free to wear your daytime outfit. We will have a 30-minute break between the afternoon breakout session and the cocktail reception.
Wireless Internet Access
Complimentary wireless internet access will be available in your guest rooms and meeting space.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your attendance, please do so by sending an email to the SKO Team at skoteam@flexential.com.
Family Members
No family members are permitted at Flexential SKO.

Expenses
Travel Days
You should follow the standard Flexential Expense Policy for your travel days to and from Flexential SKO. If you are unclear about this policy, please see your manager.
If you are arriving early or extending your stay you will be responsible for your own ground transportation and that will NOT be a reimbursable expense.
Ground transportation on Monday, January 16th and Wednesday, January 18th to and from the hotel to Charleston International Airport, has been arranged for you. Departure notices stating your departure time will be provided to you onsite.
IMPORTANT: Use of an alternative method of transportation to or from the airport (i.e.: Uber) - will NOT be a reimbursable expense.
Flexential SKO Attendees
Please follow the Flexential Expense Policy during your travel day. Flexential SKO will kick off at 7:00 PM with a Welcome Reception that will serve as dinner for all. If you choose to go out to dinner prior to 7:00 PM this will be a PERSONAL expense.
Monday, January 16th (after 7:00 PM) - Wednesday, January 18th (until 4:00 PM)
All meals and snacks will be provided for you during Flexential SKO. Any meal expenses incurred between 7:00 PM Monday and Wednesday at 4:00 PM will NOT be reimbursed.
We are happy to provide an accommodating array of options at every meal. If you are unable to find a meal that fits within the dietary requirements you provided during registration at any meals, please reach out to the SKO Team at skoteam@flexential.com, so we can pair you with a banquet staff member for assistance.
IMPORTANT NOTE (Alcoholic Beverage Expenses)
During our evening events beverages such as beer and wine will be available for your enjoyment. If you choose to purchase additional beverages at the hotel bar, or surrounding venues, for yourself, or for your team, this will NOT be reimbursed as a T&E expense. This will be a PERSONAL expense.
